Pasifika Climate and Sustainability Consultancy
About Us
PCSC provides consulting services to the Pacific people in the focus areas of leadership, climate action, sustainable energy, and development programming. PCSC was established as an individual management consultancy business in Fiji in May 2023, and places tremendous importance on indigenous people and knowledge, traditions, culture, beliefs, as well as values and practices.
PCSC is managed and directed by Emma Sale, who is currently a PhD Candidate at the Macmillan Brown Center for Pacific Studies, University of Canterbury, in Christchurch, New Zealand. Emma has over two decades of experience in development programming through the implementation and management of projects on environmental protection and governance, climate change, climate security, and sustainable energy.
Operational support (such as travel arrangements for PCSC assignments, PCSC website updates, document management, etc.) is provided by Rosemary Mario, who works remotely from Suva, Fiji.
PCSC has been engaged in different projects with regional and international development agencies and governments in the Pacific region. This includes working with national partners on specific assignments (including the experienced technical expertise in Kiribati), and regional and international partners on broad assignments.
As a responsible consulting individual business, PCSC ensures that it meets the highest standards of ethics and professionalism with high regard to indigeneity, culturalism, and spiritualism.
